Final Reflection

This unit was really great! I had a lot of fun and it was a great first experience with DT as it is my first year. I learned a lot through out this unit, the different phases of the design cycle taught me different things. I inquired a lot investigating different shelter ideas and more. I gained a lot of knowledge and used a lot of pre knowledge during the process. During the evaluation process I was reflective I got to reflect back on what I had done through out the different phases of the design cycle and evaluate what I had done.

I got to communicate through out the whole process using different types of communication methods such as one to one, using technology such as email communicating with my teacher Mr. Thorburn, I also got to communicate with my friends and share ideas. I was a risk taker because I tried something new this semester and was open-minded with what I had done and other peoples opinions through out the whole process. I think that this unit was very useful because I got to work on not only the design cycle but strengthening my areas in the IB learner profiles. I learned what I had to improve on and what I need to look out for to achieve full marks.
