The social significance of my product is really important because an emergency shelter designed for natural disasters is really important in aiding people who have survived through a huge tragedy and have lost their homes. Natural disasters have been around for more than centuries; although they cannot be preventable, we can still save lives. They occur almost everyday, whether it is an earthquake, hurricane, flood or any other disaster. Natural disasters are not manmade so un controllable and we do not know when they are going to occur so we can not warn the civilians. We need to send emergency shelters, emergency aid, food, clothes, water, blankets and more to help the victims. Emergency shelters are places for people to live temporarily when they do not have anywhere to live. The main reason for an emergency shelter is to help those who have lost their home and are injured after a natural disaster has occurred. The main problem is how people are left without homes out on the streets, injured after natural disasters. By sending them emergency shelters, they have a place to sleep at night and be looked after having something to eat. Many people are injured and loose their homes; there are family houses as well as group houses that are sent within 10 minutes and provide the disaster victims with an environmentally controlled insulated shelter. This task is worthwhile because we want to save lives, and bring the injured ones back to being healthy. Our society will benefit from emergency shelters because it is helping our society by saving lives, giving people who do not have homes a home and decreasing the amount of people who die out on the streets without shelter, food and water. We will be helping others in having a home where they can stay when their home has been destroyed. We need to help people survive and not support the decrease in world population.​
